Who We Are
Jessica Azzopardi
Founder and Tutor
Founder and Tutor of A Plus Academy and Director at Finanzi. Jessica is a Certified Public Accountant. She is a partner at Finanzi responsible for tax and corporate matters. Jessica is a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and ACCA, holds an ACCA qualification and an Advanced Diploma in International Tax. She has extensive experience in corporate and personal taxation and also advises clients on international corporate structures, including the setting up of Maltese entities.
Karl Cini
Tutor

Karl Cini expertly combines the rigor of a Certified Public Accountant (FCCA) with the technical skill of a Data Scientist. With an M.Sc. in Data Science (Distinction) and over two decades in finance and consulting, he is uniquely qualified to teach AI Literacy. Karl ensures learners grasp both the technical tools and the crucial financial and strategic implications of digital transformation. He is also currently a researcher at the University of Malta within the Department of AI.
Keith Azzopardi

Keith Azzopardi brings academic authority and practical expertise as a Data Scientist to AI Upskilling. He holds an M.Sc. in Signal Processing & Machine Learning and is currently a PhD researcher at the University of Malta, specializing in the ethical integration of Generative AI to create scalable educational content. He is uniquely positioned to guide learners on AI's technical foundations and strategic professional application.
Etienne Caruana

Graduating from a Masters in Accountancy Course in 2023, Etienne currently works as a Tax Analyst at Finanzi Services Limited. Etienne has over 5 years experience within the finance industry having performed work with EY, MFSA and Finanzi on various industries, specialising within the gaming industry.
